For best results when printing on index cards, you should use
EPSON Photo Quality Ink Jet Cards.
When printing on index cards, please note the following:
Make sure that the adjust lever is set to the + position
before you load index cards. The adjust lever is located
inside the printer. See "Setting the adjust lever" on
page 7-20.
You can insert up to 30 index cards into the sheet feeder.
Load index cards short edge first.
When you load index cards, remove the rear edge guide
and re-install it to match the length of the cards as shown
below.
Make sure the printable side of the paper is loaded correctly.
For the sheet feeder, load cards with the printable surface
down; for the manual feed slot, load cards with the printable
surface up.

Caution:
Do not touch the printable surface of the paper. Hold the cards
by their edges. The moisture or oils on your fingers can
decrease the print quality.
