CONNECTING AND OPERATING THE DVI TO VGA CONVERTER How to Connect the DVI to VGA Converter Connect a DVI source to the DVI In connector using the provided DVI cable. NOTE: The DVI to VGA Converter only supports DVI-D sources. Connect a VGA cable between the VGA monitor and the DVI to VGA Converter. -

EDID MANAGEMENT EDID Modes EXTERNAL MODE: In order to use the external (display) EDID, the DVI to VGA Converter must be powered after it has been connected to the display. If the Converter is powered before it is connected to the display, then the internal EDID will be used. -
