successive line
feeds fail to move
fanfold paper
correctly when
tractor feed is used.
Protocol error
This message will
be displayed if the
output for cut sheets
(Bin or Manual) is
selected to FRONT
SIDE/KEY.
(for CI - 4040 is
front side the
standard option)
After printing and
moving out at the
front side the printer
enters the STOP
mode and displays
REMOVE PAPER.
Cause / Action
- Please refer to paragraph
5.4 for suggestions how to
remove a paper jam.
- Check protocol setting of
printer and host
- Repeat data transfer
- Remove paper and press
