Apply 5-6 drops of oil to the oil inlet (1) at the top of the
arm.
* When using the machine, check that the oil is visible
through the oil window (2). If it cannot be seen,
problems such as seizure of the mechanism may
occur.
When first installing the machine and when the
machine has not been used for an extended period of
time, remove the bobbin and add 2-3 drops of oil to the
rotary hook race (1) before sewing.
Rotary hook lubrication adjustment
1. Remove the rubber cap (2).
2. Turn the adjusting screw (3) to adjust the lubrication
amount.
* Adjust so that approximately 10 drops of oil are
released when the sewing machine is run at a speed
of 4,000 rpm for three cycles to sew about 114
stitches. Use Kraft paper (4) or similar to catch the oil
drops. As a guide, the optimum position can be
obtained if the adjusting screw (3) is tightened as
much as possible and then loosened about two
turns.
