Error writing
on the memory card. Data may be recovered if the memory card has not been
removed. Attempt recovering the data?
- This message will appear the next time you turn on the camcorder if power supply was acci-
dentally interruptedwhile the camcorder was writing on the memory card. Select [Yes]to try
to recover the recordings.If you removed the memory card and used it with another device
after this happened, we recommend you select [No].
File name error
- The folder and file numbers have reachedtheir maximum value. Set _ _ [Photo Num-
bering] to [Reset] and delete all the photos on the memory card (CC1106)or initialize it
(_ 40).
Initialize only using the camcorder
- There is a problemwith the file system that prevents accessingthe selected memory. Initial-
ize the memory with this camcorder (CC140).
LOBScreen has been dimmed
- Hold Bier pressedfor 2 seconds to restore the LCDscreen to its previous brightnessset-
ting.
May not be possible to record movies on this memory card
- Youmay not be able to record movies on a memory card without a Speed Class rating.
Replacethe memorycard with one rated Speed Class 2, 4, 6 or 10.
Mere. Card Number of scenes already at maximum
- The memory card alreadycontains the maximum number of scenes (3,999 scenes); nofur-
ther scenes can be copied ontothe memorycard. Deletesome scenes (CC157)to free some
space.
Mere. Card Unableto recognize the data
- The memory card contains scenes recordedin a different television system (PALor SECAM).
Play back the recordings in the memory card with the device originally used to recordthem.
Memory card cover is open
- After inserting a memory card, close the memory card slot cover(_ 37).
Memory card is full
- The memorycard is full. Deletesome recordings (_ 57, 106) to free some space or replace
the memory card.
Memory card is write-protected
- The LOCK switch on the memory card is set to prevent accidental erasure. Changethe posi-
tion of the LOCKswitch.
