Troubleshooting Tips

Review the charts on the following pages first and you may not
need to call for service.

Absence of hardness

What To Do
• This is normal.
• Does not use much salt
to regenerate—very
efficient.

• Have the water tested
at once.
WARNING:
Do not drink the water until
problem has been corrected.
• Call for service.

• Check the circuit breaker
or fuses.
• This is called etching and
is permanent. To prevent
this from happening, use
less detergent if you have
soft water. Wash glassware
in the shortest cycle that
will get them clean.
• Check pressure; should be
minimum 20 psi.
• Clean and reconnect hose.
