Rename Print Server

Always use EPSETUP (or EPCONFIG) to rename on the master
file server. Never use PCONSOLE to rename the print server on
the master file server.
Because EPSETUP renames the print server for all file servers on
which it services queues, it is recommended over EPCONFIG.
1. Select "Rename Print Server" from "Print Server Configuration
Options."
2. Enter a print server name, up to 47 characters. The following
characters are not allowed: Ctrl / \ : ; , * ?  + = [ ] " c> and
space. A period (.) is allowed, as long as it is not the first
character of the name.
3. In the "Options" menu, press
Caution:
Once you select "Reset," you must wait for the "Reset has been
completed" message to appear before turning off the printer,

Set Password

A password is not required for Ethernet Card operation. If you
choose to assign one, using EPSETUP is somewhat easier than
using EPCONFIG. EPSETUP changes the print server
password for all file servers on which it services queues.
Never use PCONSOLE to assign or change a password on the
master file server.
1.
Select "Set Password" from "Print Server Configuration
Options."
2. Type
password. Press
the
ESC.
Select "Reset."
ENTER.
