Transferring pictures to your documents

After you select pictures in the Folder menu's image
selection window, you can insert them in your
documents. You can use your pictures in many different
types of application programs, such as word processors,
presentation programs, spreadsheets, database
managers, page layout and desktop publishing packages.
If your application supports OLE2 or TWAIN, you can
directly transfer your photos. If it does not, you need to
save your photos in a file format your application can
use, and open the file from the application.
You can use the same methods to transfer and insert
your photos as described in the Camera menu section on
page 45. However, from the Folder menu, images are not
transferred from your camera but from the folder where
you downloaded the images.
Using PhotoPC 600 with Your Computer

Erasing selected files from a folder

Click the Erase Files button to erase selected pictures
from a folder. A dialog box appears asking you to
confirm that you want to erase these pictures.
If any of the photos are locked, a dialog box appears
asking you whether you want to leave the photos in your
camera or erase them. Click Yes to leave the photos in
your camera, or click No to erase them.

Getting photo information

The thumbnail images in the image selection window are
quite small and you may have problems seeing what is
actually in the picture. Click the Photo Info button to see
a double-size view of a selected thumbnail image along
with the date, time, image quality setting, and zoom rate,
as well as the flash
, macro
symbols when applicable.
You can also get this enlarged view by clicking the image
with the right mouse button when running Windows, or
on a Macintosh by clicking the image while the control
key is pressed. The Photo Info button is disabled when
multiple images are selected.
