TIGHTENING
SCREWS
AND
NUTS (Fig. 9)
1.
Install the correct
bit.

2. Apply just enough pressure
to keep the bit engaged on
the screw or nut.
3.
Position the direction-of-
rotation selector to the left of
the tool for forward
rotation.

4. Apply minimal pressure to
the trigger switch initially.
Increase the speed only
when full control can be
maintained.

Do not over-tighten,
as the force of the 12V Right-Angle

can break the fastener.
Keep the 12V Right-Angle

at a right
angle to the fastener to avoid damaging
the fastener head.

Impact Driver. If cleaning with compressed

only method available, always wear safety goggles
or safety glasses with side
shields when using compressed
air to clean the tool. If the operation
is dusty,
also wear a dust mask.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents
when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible
to damage from various types of commercial
solvents and may be damaged
by
their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

petroleum-
based products,
penetrating
oils, etc. to come

with plastic
parts.
