Use the Noise Reduction slider and Descpeckle option to redistribute dots by
categories.
Þ Deleting and modifying the definition of a set of category basic colors are
irreversible operations. So, if you want to have possibility to return to the
current dialog box parameters adjustment, save the current adjustment to a
template using the Template button before starting to change parameters or
a category set. You can later restore the adjustment saved in the template.
4. When you are satisfied with the quality of separation preview, click the Apply
button.

Color Reduction

This procedure is similar to that of color separation, described in the previous
section. You should specify a category set and define their basic colors. The only
difference is that you do not have to specify category names, since color reduction
does not cause the creation of additional layers.
Perform this procedure using the Color Reduction dialog box.
To open the Color Reduction dialog box
Click the Color Reduction button on the WiseImage toolbar.
Choose Color Reduction from the rImage menu.
The adjusting procedure is performed the same way as the color separation
procedure. Functions of this dialog box dialog controls are the same as those of the
color separation dialog controls described on page 102.
