5.2.5 Bi-Directional Adjustment

This section describes how to make Bi-Directional Adjustment. This
adjustment must be made under the following conditions.
1. The printhead has been replaced/removed.
2. Vertical lines are not aligned. (A print problem has occurred.)
3. C380 Main Board has been replaced.
4. When the ROM (version TEE012A, 01B, or 01C) is replaced with
the revised one (TEE01D or newer). (See Section 5.2.2 for details).
NOTE:
Bi-Directional Adjustment value is not cleared with EEPROM
Initialization (resetting the protection counter and specific
addresses).
1. Referring to Section 5.2.1, perform the preliminary operation.
2. Select "Adjustment" from the main adjustment menu (Figure 5-3)
then "Bi-D".
3. The following screen appears.

4. Select "Print the Bi-D adjustment pattern" in the screen.
5. Click "OK".
6. The following screen appears.
Screen after "Print the Bi-D adjustment pattern" is Selected
7. Click "OK".
8. The following screen appears and the printer runs the Bi-D
adjustment pattern consequently.
