Installation overview

The HP ProLiant Server Management Packs for Microsoft® Systems Center Operations Manager 2007 is
part of the HP Insight Control suite for Microsoft® System Center product. A free download is available
for customers who do not have the HP Insight Control suite. The HP Insight Control suite, which provides
compressive integrated features for Microsoft® Systems Center product environments such as Operations
Manager 2007, Configuration Manager 2007, and Virtual Machine Manager 2008, is integrated with
advanced plug-in products for HP Systems Insight Manager products.
The HP Insight Control suite DVD provides a guided installer (Autorun.exe) to select the HP ProLiant Server
Management Packs for Operations Manager 2007. Run the Autorun.exe program on the DVD, and then
follow the screen guide. The appropriate kit, such as Windows Server® 2008 X64 and X86 editions, is
selected on the installation environment.
