The new HP Server Management Packs for ProLiant servers take advantage of the redesigned architecture and new features provided with Operations Manager 2007.

If the Operations Manager console is running, close it. Install and then execute either the hpProLiantMP0n_n(x86).exe file or the hpProLiantMP0n_n(x64).exe file on a system hosting the Operations Manager 2007 Management Server or a system running remote Operations Manager console.

    After installing the HP ProLiant Server Management Packs for Operations Manager 2007 The installation updates the system with components in the table below. By default, all files are installed in the "%Program Files%\HP Server Management Packs for Operations Manager 2007" directory. If you selected a different destination folder during the installation, these files are installed in the selected folder.

    The HP ProLiant Server Management Pack kit imports four management packs into the Operations Manager 2007 server: • Hewlett-Packard Servers Core Library—This defines the basic HP Server Class structure to support ProLiant Servers Management. • Hewlett-Packard ProLiant Servers Base—This defines the HP ProLiant Server Class structure to process primary monitoring to ProLiant Servers.
