    Configuring the SCSI Bus SCSI Disk Utilities When the SCSI Disk Utilities are selected from the initial Options menu, the SCSISelect utility scans the SCSI bus and lists all the SCSI devices on the SCSI bus. The list shows the SCSI ID and name of each SCSI device.

However, if you have two adapters sharing the same SCSI devices, you should give one of the adapters a currently-unassigned ID to avoid duplication of SCSI IDs.

To optimize SCSI bus performance, this option should be set to Enabled when two or more SCSI devices are connected to the host adapter.
