b. Position the hard disk drive so that the shoulder screws are aligned with the
slots in the internal drive-bay bracket.
c. Slide the front of the drive into the slots of the internal drive-bay bracket.

d. Lower the rear of the drive into position in the bracket, and install the
thumbscrew at the rear of the drive.
e. Reconnect the signal and power cables to the hard disk drive in the bracket.
If you have other devices to install, do so now; otherwise, go to "Completing the
installation" on page 53.

Power and signal cables for internal drives

Important: This computer is suitable for use on an IT power distribution system
whose maximum phase to phase voltage is 240 V under any distribution fault
condition.
The computer uses cables to connect IDE, SATA, and SAS devices to the power
supply and to the system board. (See "System-board internal connectors" on page
33 for the location of system-board connectors.) Review the following information
before you connect power and signal cables to internal drives:
Shoulder screws
Plastic block
Thumbscrew
