Interface Cable Characteristics

WAN Port Connecting Cables

The WAN port terminates with a 25-pin female D-type connector.
The connecting cable may be one of three types.
25-pin male D-type to 15-pin male D-type.
25-pin male D-type to 25-pin male D-type.
25-pin male D-type to 34-pin MRAC.
V.11/X.21 WAN Cable
The WAN port can be configured to support V.11 signaling at data
transfer rates up to 2.048 Mbps. Note the following pinouts when
buying or making up a suitable WAN cable.
Autosense pins must be connected in order for the cable to
function correctly.
