CHECKING THE INK LEVEL
To know when the ink cartridge is running out of ink and needs replacing, check the ink level in the
following ways:

By viewing the ink level indicator on the Ink Levels tab of your print driver's Preferences or Properties
dialogue box, as follows:

With the document file open in the application that you are using, click File > Print. The Print
dialogue box is displayed.

Click Preferences or Properties, depending on your operating system. The printer driver user
interface screen is displayed.

Click the Ink Level tab. The ink capacity indicator shows the percentage of ink remaining in the
cartridge.

From the Toolbox, by viewing the ink level indicator on the bottom of the Toolbox's main screen:

Right click your mouse button on the Olivetti icon on the Windows task bar and click MY_WAY
Toolbox, or click Start > Programs or All Programs > Olivetti > MY_WAY Toolbox. The Toolbox
is displayed.
note: In the Mac OS X environment, the Toolbox program can be launched by clicking on the icon
present on the desktop or by selecting it from the list of installed programs. The Toolbox is displayed.

Click Solutions and Assistance.

Click Select to choose New ink cartridge. The New ink cartridge dialogue box displayed includes
the ink level indicator showing the amount of ink remaining in the cartridge.

From pop-ups displayed by the Printer Status Monitor during a print job, that show the amount of ink
remaining. See "The Printer Status Monitor" for more information.

From the Start menu:
Click Start > Programs or All programs > Olivetti > MY_WAY New ink cartridge. The Status
Monitor is displayed.

Directly on the printer control panel:
When the ink indicator begins to flash, the ink level in the cartridge is getting low; when the indicator
is on steady, the ink cartridge is almost out of ink.
