Inserting Segments Earlier in the
Segment Sequence
You can add segments earlier in your design's segment
sequence and change the order segments are sewn.
To insert segments before the insertion point:
1 Select and cut, or copy, the segment.
2 In the design workspace or Sequence View area, click where
you want to insert the segment.
3 Do one of the following:
Choose Insert
Right-click and choose Insert from the context menu.
The selection is inserted before the insertion point.
Moving a Segment Forward or
Backward
Use the Move Up commands to move the selected segment
closer to the beginning of the design. Conversely, the Move
Down command is used to move the selected segment closer to
the end of the design.
A simple design of three segments (the letters on the left), plus the sequence
view of the design. The image above shows the original design, and the one
below shows it after a Move Up command. In this case, the Move Up
from the Home tab on the ribbon.
