Thin Client
This chapter describes how to configure your thin client for remote
administration.
The Neoware software on your thin client can be managed and
updated from a remote server using Neoware Remote Manager.
This allows an administrator to quickly update or reconfigure thin
clients connected to the network without having to leave his desk.
The thin client can also be configured to automatically check
whether it has the latest version of software installed when it starts
up, and install it from a server if required.
Using Neoware Remote Manager, the network administrator can
create a properties configuration template that the thin client will
pull from the server when powered-on or rebooted. The thin client
will continue to check for changes to the properties configuration
template each time it is powered-on or rebooted. For more informa-
