ing the
LPD printing enables a printer connected to your thin client to be
used through any server that can print using the LPR/LPD protocol
(UNIX, Linux, NT Server, Windows 2000/2003 Server, main-
frames, etc).
LPD printing is disabled by default. To enable it, check the
LPD Print
utility box. When LPD is selected the Parallel Port is
enabled by default with the queue name LPT1. You can select
another port by checking the relevant box, and change its queue
name as required.

for LPD printing, refer to the appendix "Network Printing Using
LPR/LPD" on page 193.
