Configuration
This chapter describes how to create a Virtual Private Network
connection and explains the configuration options available.
This manual is intended to cover a number of Neoware thin client
models. Depending on the software version included with your thin
client, it may not have the Microsoft VPN client installed.
Microsoft VPN Client enables you to make a Virtual Private Net-
work connection using one of three protocols: PPTP (Point-to-
Point Tunneling Protocol), L2TP (Layer Two Tunneling Protocol),
or PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet).
This chapter describes how to create a new VPN connection, then
proceeds to explain all the configuration options available. For
details on how to start a VPN connection, refer to the section
"Starting a Connection" on page 18.
