<Cause>
• BJ cartridge not detected.
• BJ cartridge not installed.
• BJ cartridge combination wrong.
<Suspected parts>
• Check that the Black or Photo BJ cartridge is on the left
and the Color BJ cartridge is on the right side of the
carriage.
• Check if the cartridge lock lever is locked.
• Check the carriage ribbon cable for folds or other damage.

Repair or replace

Remove both the left and right BJ cartridge.
