Adjusting the Speaker EQ.
To maximize the effect of ACTIVE EQ (*), select the size of Front
Speakers in more detail.
• If you have selected "FRNT NML" as the Front Speakers
setting, this menu is appeared.
1 Press the SETUP key.
2 Use the MULTI CONTROL∞¥5 keys or TRIM ∞/5keys to
select the "SP EQ" and then press the SETUP key again.
3 Use the MULTI CONTROL∞¥5 keys or TRIM ∞/5keys to
select the Speaker EQ setting.
1 "MEDIUM" : Medium size Front Speakers are con-
nected
2 "SMALL"
: Small size Front Speakers are connected
to the amplifier.
4 Press the SETUP key again to return to the 2.

Some preparatory steps are needed before starting playback.
ON/STANDBY
POWER
Turning on the receiver
1 Turn on the power to the related components.
2 Turn on the power to this receiver by pressing ON/STANDBY
key or POWER
key.
Selecting the input mode
If you have selected a component connected to the DVD, VIDEO1 and
VIDEO2 jacks, make sure that the input mode setting is correct for the
type of audio signal to be used.

Listening to a source component

Use the INPUT SELECTOR knob or Input Selector keys to
select the source you want to listen to.
The input sources change as shown below:
1 "TUNER"
2 "DVD"
3 "VIDEO1"
4 "VIDEO2"
5 "AUX"

Start playback from the selected source.

Use the VOLUME CONTROL knob or VOLUME +/– keys to
adjust the volume.
