Recording Music from Kenwood Digital Audio

Memory card only

Connect a Kenwood digital audio player
to the D.AUDIO IN connector. (Refer to
page 10 of "Read Before Use".)
Make sure that the memory card is in
stop mode.
If
is lit,
press the RANDOM key to cancel the
random play mode.
* Do not connect a USB audio player during
recording, as this will stop the recording.
* To change the record mode setup,
see pages 56 to 61.

Select the D.AUDIO source.

Prepare recording.

Select the music file to be recorded.

* Playback pauses at the beginning of the selected music file.
* When the dedicated cable is used, the Kenwood digital
audio player can be controlled from the main unit or
remote control unit.
* If the dedicated cable is not used for the connection,
prepare recording on the connected Kenwood digital
audio player.

Enter record-pause mode.
To stop recording
Let playback pause
temporarily.
The memory card is put
to record-pause mode.
* A message [Don't remove
MEMORY CARD] is scrolled.
To let recording pause
temporarily
or
* To resume recording, press the
same key again. Note that a new
music file is created at this time.
