Recording More Music (Replacement of Memory Card)
Pre parat i o n s
The memory card can be replace
when the system is in the standby
mode.
* An SD memory card with a capacity
between 32 MB and 2 GB can be used.
A SDHC card (4 GB or more) cannot be
used.
* It is recommended to format the card
with this system before proceeding to
recording. (See page 67.)
An SD memory card or a miniSD
card can be used.
* A special adapter is required to insert a
miniSD

You can improve the convenience
by using a PC.
To move music files stored in a PC:

card:

Open the memory card slot
cover.

Take out the existing memory card.

Insert the new memory card.

Close the memory card slot
cover.
* Never open the memory
card slot cover in the
middle of recording.
Otherwise, the recording
s t o p s a n d n o r m a l
re co rd i n g c a n n o t b e
obtained.
Push in the memory
card lightly.
Hold and insert the card so that the labeled side
faces down and the cut corner comes on the left.
* Insert the card all the way.
* If the cover is left open,
playback or recording
will not be possible.
