1. Turn off the server and any attached devices.
2. Disconnect all external cables and power cords from the back of the server.
3. Remove the server cover (see "Removing the left-side cover" on page 14).
4. Remove the front bezel (see "Removing the bezel" on page 16).
5. Disconnect and remove adapters and spacers (see "Installing or replacing an
adapter" on page 25).
6. Remove the two central fans (see "Replacing a center fan (3 or 4)" on page
19).
7. Remove the plastic baffle.
8. Disconnect the operator information panel cable from the system board.
9. From outside the server, push the tab 1 on the panel 2 , making sure to
press the tab near the chassis; the panel will disengage from the chassis.
