• One switch status LED in the center of the power supply side to indicate
whether the switch is on and has successfully booted, and whether any
of the ports are faulty.
Figure 12 shows the SFP media side of the FC 16B with the LEDs
identified.

The following table describes the LEDs above each port on the left. These
LEDs indicate the status of the port.
Color of LED Status of Hardware
No light No light or signal carrier
(media or cable) is detected.
Steady green Port is online (connected to an
external device) but has no
traffic.
Slow-flashing The port is online but
green (on 1 segmented, indicating a
second; off 1 loopback cable or incompatible
second) switch.
