    To turn the FC 16B on, connect one or both power supplies to a power source, then flip the AC power switch to “I”. To turn the switch off, turn off both power supplies (if both are installed) by flipping each AC power switch to “O”.

    SFP modules and fiber optic cables in use. The tests are implemented by command, either through a telnet session or through a terminal set up for a serial connection to the switch. Some tests require the ports to be connected by external cables, to allow diagnostics to verify the serializer/deserializer interface, as well as the attached SFP and cable.
