3. Press ENTER to register the code.
The display shows the timer settings: Date > Start Time > End Time >
Recording Mode/Channel
If CODE ERROR appears on the display, check the PlusCode and
return to step 1 above.
If CANNOT RECORD appears on the display, the PlusCode is
correct. However, there may be another reason for the failure such
as a previous timer program set for that time period.

Record From an External Input

The PRV-9000 accepts input from
external components, satellite tuners
and DV output devices. The following
sections address each input device.
Picture disturbance in the recording may occur in the following situations
source component pauses playback
source component plays an unrecorded segment
power fails in the source device
the DV cable is disconnected
Although cables are seated properly and the settings are correct, the recorder is
subject to the following limitations:
The recorder is only compatible with DV-format (DVS-SD) camcorders.
Digital satellite tuners and Digital VHS video recorders are incompatible.
