Scanning Discs

During playback, use the Jog dial on the
remote control to fast-scan forward or
backward on a disc. Turn the dial clockwise
for forward scanning and counter-clockwise for
backward scanning. The scanning speed
displays on the screen. Sound is suppressed
during DVD and Video CD scans but is audible
when scanning an Audio CD. To resume
standard playback, press the PLAY button.
Smart Jog

Normal playback may automatically resume when reaching a new chapter. Test
the disc for this function before playing the material in a professional setting.
DVD Scanning with remote control
Note: SCAN 4 is only available on VR mode DVD-RW discs.
