Select the account options for each system as follows.

Use the Next/Previous buttons to select the desired system.
Alternative A
To create a new account for the system:
Ensure Create an AD account... is selected.
The center panel displays a list view of your
Active Directory's organizational structure.
Expand the tree if necessary and highlight the
Organization Unit (OU) where the new account
should be created. The mailbox and Active
Directory user will automatically be created by

the utility
. If you wish to use these same setting
for the remaining accounts to be added, click
Create the remaining accounts in this folder
button, or use the Next/Previous buttons to
switch to the next system.
Note: If an OU has more then 1,000 entries, only the first 1,000 will be displayed. Please use the
Search option when OUs are very large.

Repeat the above steps using the Next/Previous buttons to toggle between the systems until a
choice has been made for each system.

Click the OK button to continue.
In Exchange Server 2003 Installations, the utility will ask you for a password to use for the newly

created accounts
. The password entered will be used for accounts that are to be created. Marking
the Reset password for all... checkbox will also set the password for accounts that are being re-
used.
Note: The password for resource accounts is not needed by users or in normal use. It is only for
administrators that may wish to log into the account/mailbox directly. The resource account
passwords can be changed using standard AD tools afterwards without affecting the Cisco TMSXE
integration.
Review selections—After choices have been made for all selected systems, a window will present a
summary display of your choices.
If the information is correct, click OK, or if alterations are needed click the Edit button to return to the
previous screen.
If one or more of the systems imported were associated with existing accounts, you will be asked if
existing meetings events from the accounts' Calendars should be imported into Cisco TMS. This
ensures the resources' calendars and Cisco TMS are in synch.

The account will be created with the username of TMS-<id> where <Id> is the TMS System ID. The display
name of the AD user will be set to the System Name in TMS. The mailbox will be created in the Mail Store
designated during installation.

This is only for Exchange Server 2003 Installations – Exchange Server 2007 installations will create an AD
account with no password and the user account will be disabled as is normal for resource accounts in Exchange
2007

Alternative B
To use an existing account
This option will reconfigure an existing AD
user account and mailbox to be associated
with the Cisco TMS system. Select Use an
Existing AD Account. The center panel will
show you your domain's organizational
structure. Navigate the tree to find the
desired AD Account or use the Search
feature. Only user accounts that have their
mailbox on the local server will be
displayed. Click on the user account you
wish to associate to this Cisco TMS
system.
