Setting the
You can adjust the number of rings that sound
ring delay
before the machine answers the call:

Press the MENU/OK button ONCE then the
á button ONCE

Use the á â buttons to adjust the ring

delay between 3 and 8 rings or Toll Saver
If you select Toll Saver the telephone will
answer after 3 rings, if there are new messages on
the answering machine, but after 5 rings if there
are no new messages. This allows you to call from
a remote telephone to check your messages,and if
it does not answer after 3 rings, you know there
are new messages, so you can hang up without
being charged for the call.

Press the MENU/OK button to confirm the
new setting

Use the CANCEL button to exit the menu or
press and hold HANG UP to go to standby
mode
