Preparing the base

Choose a suitable
site for the base
unit
See page 4

First connect
the power plug
and the
telephone line
plug to the
base.

Then connect the power
adapter and telephone
line cord to the mains
and the telephone
socket respectively.
Plug the mains adapter
into a 230 V AC, 50 Hz
mains socket, with the
switch on the socket set
to OFF

If you have one or more charger pods ...
Plug the mains adapter into a 230 V AC,
50 Hz mains socket, with the switch on the
socket set to OFF

Switch on at the mains socket(s)

Use the telephone line
cord supplied with your
iDECT V2 —
do not use any other
telephone line cord
After installation, do not attempt to
access the bottom of the base during
operation. The bottom side can only be
accessed after disconnecting the
telephone line cord and power adaptor.
