The ZENworks
Adaptive Agent provides information on how your device performs the discovery
and deployment activities when it acts as a Windows Proxy for the ZENworks Primary Server.
NOTE: This page is displayed only for the Windows managed devices.

9.1 Viewing the Discovery Results
You can view the results of the discovery activities performed on your device when it acts as a
Windows Proxy for the ZENworks Primary Server. Your device can act as a Windows Proxy for:
Linux Primary Servers that cannot perform discovery tasks by using Windows-specific
technologies such as WMI, WinAPI, and SNMP
Windows Primary Servers if the devices to be discovered are in a different subnet than the
Primary Server
To view the discovery results:

Description
Displays the discovery task name created by the
ZENworks Administrator.
Displays the target device's hostname or IP
address.
Displays the name and status of each discovery
technology (WMI, WinAPI, SNMP) used for the
discovery process.
