7 (44) 3. Safety instructions for using the attachment Safety is the result of several factors. The combination of a loader and an attachment is highly powerful, and improper or careless use or maintenance may cause serious personal injury or property damage. Because of this, each operator must read and understand the operator’s manuals for both the loader and the attachment before operation.
Page 8
8 (44) Hazard of entanglement - Never wear or allow any assisting persons to wear loose clothes, such as loose shoelaces, or long scarves when working with or near the attachment. Always stop the attachment before anyone gets near it. Keep hands and feet away from moving components.
Page 9
9 (44) Crushing hazard - Never allow anyone to get under a lifted attachment or loader boom. Keep in mind that the loader boom can be lowered or tilted even if the engine has WARNING been shut down. The loader is not intended to be left to keep a load elevated for longer periods.
Page 10
10 (44) 3.2 Safe shutdown procedure Safe stopping of the attachment, before going near the attachment: Always stop the attachment following safe stopping procedure before leaving the driver's seat.
