Starting, Stopping, and Restarting CMS Instances
Select the CMS instance you want to stop from the Netscape Console

navigation tab and then right-click your mouse selecting the Stop Server option
from the pop-up menu.

Log in to Netscape Console (see "Logging Into Netscape Console" on

Double-click the CMS instance you want to open from the Netscape Console

navigation tab, or select the instance and click Open.
Go to the Tasks Tab and select Stop Server.

Stopping From the Command Line
To stop a CMS instance from the command line:

Restarting a Server Instance

You can restart the server from either Netscape Console or from the command line.
Restarting From the CMS Console
To restart a CMS instance from the CMS console:
Log in to Netscape Console (see "Logging Into Netscape Console" on

Double-click the CMS instance you want to open from the Netscape Console

navigation tab, or select the instance and click Open.
Go to the Tasks Tab and select Restart Server.
