2-6 Action in an emergency

To regain control of the boat in an emergency
situation:
1. Press . The AP380 is now disengaged
and you have complete steering control.

move the rudder:
1. Ensure the AP380 is in STBY by pressing

2. Press and hold
rudder to port or starboard. Pressing both
will centre the rudder
3. Release the button when the rudder is in
the desired position.
Alternatively:
1. Ensure the AP380 is in STBY by pressing
the key.
2. Turn the Control Dial until the on-screen
rudder indicator is in the desired position.
3. The AP380 will turn the rudder until it is in
the target position.
