5.1.3. Managing and Monitoring Mac
Clients
While Mac clients do not appear in the Console, you may manage
and monitor them on a Windows-based workstation using
meZ-IP Administrator. The program is located in the 5big Backup
Server shared folder Software.
1. From a Windows Vista or Windows 7-based workstation, go to
Network > 5bigbackup [or, the name of your 5big Backup
Server] > Software (Fig.
2. Right-click on ExtremeZ-IP Administrator and choose Run as
administrator (Fig. 62). Selecting Open may not launch the
program.
3. If you are not logged onto the workstation as an administrator,
Windows will ask for a login and password.
