customer must decide for themselves the priority they want to apply to NIS as a search
order item. However, if NIS is enabled, NIS must be listed in the search order for
each item in the Choose Name Service Switch list. Proceed by entering NIS into the
search order for each line item according to your system environment needs.
9. If you did not reboot after making the NIS settings in the NAS web interface NIS page,
reboot now for the changes to take effect, or reboot after also making the DNS changes
in the NAS web interface.
