Note
You must never attempt to open the sensor. There are no user
serviceable parts inside, and you may easily cause a leak.
The PI Geometry sensor must be charged between operation.
The battery lifetime depends on the update rate you have chosen.
Note
To charge the PI Geometry sensor, use the Simrad PI Charger
or the Simrad PI MaxiCharger.

Optimal sensor charging temperature is from +10 to +25° C.
Note
Charging sensors at sub zero temperatures can create explosive
gasses. Kongsberg Maritime AS assumes no liability for
improper charging of sensors, or the use of chargers not specified
in our sensor or charger documentation.
The PI Mini-R responder must be charged between operation.
The battery lifetime depends on the update rate you have chosen.
Note
To charge the PI Mini-R Responder, use the Simrad PI Charger
or the Simrad PI MiniCharger. Do not use the PI MaxiCharger!
