Read and understand instructions before attempting installation
Step 1.
Open the hood and remove the headlight bezels and then grille. On 83-87 Chevy and GMC; remove the
turn signal lights from the grille.
Step 2.
Cut off the plastic brackets on the turn signal lights used to secure the lights to the grille. Cut so they
are flush with the body of the light. Slide the turn signal lights between the two brackets located on the
back side of the grille in the bottom corners. Now the light should be flush with the outside edge of the
billet. Insert a small #6 screw through the pre-drilled hole in the lower bracket and into the light body
securing it in place.
Step 3.
Slide the clips provided onto the four brackets at the top of the grille. Install the billet on the truck. Plug
in the turn signal lights. Locate the two outer brackets on top of the grille, under the pre-drilled holes in
the truck and secure using the screws provided (do not tighten at this time). (To ensure proper
alignment, it is recommended that the headlight bezels are re-installed at this point to allow you to
centrally align the grille. Remove the headlight bezels after alignment. Now tighten the four previously
installed screws.
Step 4.
Look at the grille at hood level and you will see two more brackets 18 ¾" inward of the outer brackets.
These brackets are ¾" wide. Find the center line of each bracket and measure exactly 1 ¼" back from
the front of the edge of the chrome trim and drill a 3/16" hole at this point (Be careful not to drill
through to the clip and bracket of the grille.). Install the last two screws and tighten. Now install the
