Possible Cause
Ensure the power cable is connected securely to both the cradle
and to AC power.
Remove and re-insert the wearable terminal into the cradle,
ensuring it is firmly seated.
Remove and re-insert the spare battery into the charging slot,
ensuring it is firmly seated.
Ensure cradle is receiving power. Ensure wearable terminal is
seated correctly. Confirm main battery is charging. If a wearable
terminal battery is fully depleted, it can take up to four hours to
fully recharge a standard capacity battery and up to eight hours for
an extended capacity battery (if the wearable terminal is off, and
longer if the wearable terminal is operating).
View battery status by selecting
Power
Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so, replace the faulty
battery.
Remove and re-insert the wearable terminal into the cradle,
ensuring it is firmly seated.
Move the cradle to an area where the ambient temperature is
between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and 104°F).
Verify that the battery is oriented properly and firmly seated in the
battery well correctly with the contacts facing down. See
3-3 on page 3-6
Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so, replace the faulty
battery.
