Click <OK> after selecting a serial port and the system pops up the following
interface. In the interface, set the bits per second to 9600, data bits to 8, parity
check to none, stop bits to 1, and flow control to none.

Click <OK> after setting the serial port parameters, and the system enters the
following interface.

Choose [Properties] in the HyperTerminal dialog box to enter the properties window.
Click [Settings] to enter the following properties setting window, and select VT100 as
the terminal emulation. Click <OK> when the selection is done.
