    WIGGENS WCI-650CH/850CH 1. Safety and General Precaution 1.1. General Information on Precaution Precaution is to prevent the possible accident or danger during operation. So, you must keep it.  Precaution is divided into caution and warning. And, each of them has following meanings.

The power outlet must be only for this product. (Using various products simultaneously can cause a fire) Clean the power plug with a dry towel and connect it properly.

    WIGGENS WCI-650CH/850CH 4. Installation & Operation of Incubator 4.1. Control Panel -CO₂ Incubator Control Panel Heating Signal: To show status of heating activation at 3 parts where is controlled by 3 each sensor. Glass door means the Temperature set button.

    Operating Manual 4.2. Installation Locating Place and install the product  Install the product at the desired place and check the level of both side and back and four castors. Move the product to the desired place. After placing the product at the desired spot, all of 4 casters need to be locked to avoid vibration of incubator.

    WIGGENS WCI-650CH/850CH The pressure gauge may be different depending on its manufacturing companies. If Regulator's pressure is too high, it causes malfunction of the CO₂ valve control. 4.3. Operation Before Switch ON, insert water tray filling with distilled water. Make sure connection of gas supply. And Open CO2 gas cylinder or supply with the pressure of regulator set to 4.5Psi or 0.3 bar.

    Operating Manual 4.4. Calibration Please follow up the procedure for calibration below in case of discrepancy between actual value (measured by reliable thermometer or device) in chamber and displayed value. Conduct the analysis of CO density and Temperature when incubator has been stabilized for more than 2 hours. Leave the incubator at least 2 hours (preferably overnight) to allow conditions to stabilize if incubator is just turned ON.

    WIGGENS WCI-650CH/850CH Push UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) to adjust CO % display. Before release of CO incubator from WIGGENS factory, CO density is calibrated optimizing at 5%. When using different density ofCO rather than 5%, this calibration is highly recommendable.

    Operating Manual 6. Shaker Operation The equipment allows controlling 3 shakers individually. Shaker Control Panel Shaking Signal: Show status of three shakers oscillation activation Shaking speed set button. RPM1: Shaker 1 current speed, set speed and timer. Adjustment button RPM2: Shaker 2 current speed, set speed and timer. Shaker 1 start/stop RPM3: Shaker 3 current speed, set speed and timer.

    With maximum loading, shaking is available up to 150RPM.  In case of WCI-650CH, 2L Flask is only available in 3rd compartment (lowest level). Other top and middle  compartments are not available with 2L flask due to the height.

Shaker Disassemble for Cleaning When the product requires cleaning chamber and shakers, it is hard to access all surface of chamber without removal of shakers and shelves. 3 shakers in the incubator and its base shelves are all demountable. Followings are the step to disassemble shakers and shelves.

  • Page 31 When UV lighting with cover, expose of UV light to chamber is very little. However, it is not guaranteed that cell is not damaged in this situation. WIGGENS recommend avoid cell culture when UV light is on even with cover.
