    Maintenance Before performing any maintenance on this machine, make sure the unit is unplugged, and that all switches are turned to the OFF position. Daily 1. Wipe the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use any cleaning solution on the machine to protect its components.

    Brush Roll Replacement 1. Check the brush rolls for signs of wear. There is a yellow wear-indicating bristle on each roll. If the working bristles have worn down to the length of the yellow bristle, or if the brush roll is damaged in any way, it will need to be replaced. Always replace the brush rolls in pairs.
