2.6 Solid lubricants 2. Lubricants Solid lubricants may only be used after prior consultation with SKF. 2.1 General information When solid lubricants are used in lubrication systems, the following rules generally apply: Lubricants are selected specifically for the respective application.
3. Overview, functional description 3.1 General description CLV-OS is a bistable electrically controlled shut-off valve. In a lubrication system, the lubrication channels controlled by one pumping center are separated from each other with shut-off valves. The CLV-OS valve can also be used directly from the machine to be lubricated (interlocking), if needed.

Operation 7.2 Manual operation If the SKF SAFEOIL system is designed with NC-type of shut-off The control voltage to the CLV-OS shut-off valve is connected valves, open the shut-off valve of the channel to be pressurized either from a lubrication control unit or from the interlocking before the pressurization of the piping so that the lubricant can system of the machine to be lubricated.
8. Maintenance and repair 8.1 Maintenance Regular and appropriate maintenance is a prerequisite to detect and clear faults in time. The specific timelines have to be determined, verified at regular intervals and adapted by the operator based on the operating conditions. If needed, use the below table for regular maintenance activities.
