    • Unauthorized modifications and changes can have an unpredictable effect on safety and operation. Unauthorized modifications and changes are therefore prohibited. Only original SKF spare parts and SKF accessories may be used. • Any unclear points regarding proper condition or correct assembly/operation must be clarified. Operation is prohibited until issues have been clarified.

    Persons authorized to use the product Operator A person who is qualified by training, knowledge and experience to carry out the functions and activities related to normal operation. This includes avoiding possible hazards that may arise during operation.     Remote alarm messages are extremely useful with difficult to access locations, either due safety or great distance. Lubrication system inspections are easy to carry out with remote creating time saving for maintenance personnel. SKF’s E-SMS-C-4G can be used with single line, dual-line, progressive and spray systems while using compatible IF or ST control centers firmware versions.

    4. Delivery, returns, storage Delivery After receipt of the shipment, it must be inspected for any shipping damage and for completeness according to the shipping documents. Immediately inform the transport carrier of any shipping damage. The packaging material must be preserved until any discrepancies are resolved.

    7. Operation E-SMS-C-4G Lubrication system options E-SMS-C-4G can be used with single line, dual-line, progressive and spray systems while using compatible IF or ST control centers. Table 2.     IF-103 can be used to configure the Multilube pump by connecting the interface to the ST-103 control board but it can not be used simultaneously with the E-SMS-C-4G modem because one of these interfaces is connected to the port at once.

    The alarm is acknowledged by sending the received SMS-message back to the modem of the pumping unit. Maxilube IF-105 and E-SMS-C-4G E-SMS-C-4G modem is secondary remote user interface besides the IF-105 panel with the Maxilube pumping unit. Simultaneous connection of the E-SMS-C-4G and IF-105 panel is possible with Maxilube pumping unit. Modem enables remote controlling possibility by SMS-messages.

    First check your pumping center or control center firmware is compatible with E-SMS-C-4G modem. Compatible Table 2. Compatible IF and ST control centers & firmware versions.
