INDICAZIONI GENERALI DI SICUREZZA Di seguito sono riassunte alcune indicazioni generali di sicurezza: • Leggere attentamente le istruzioni d’uso prima di procedere alla messa in funzione della macchina; • Non effettuare mai alcuna operazione con le mani umide o bagnate; • Non coprire mai la macchina, neppure parzialmente, con strofinacci o con teli di protezione; • Non mettere le mani in prossimità dei beccucci erogazione caffè (rif. INSTALLAZIONE Estrarre la macchina dall’imballo e collocarla su un piano stabile, adatto a sostenerne il peso, in prossimità di una presa di corrente idonea. Conservare l’imballo in tutte le sue parti per eventuali futuri trasporti. RIEMPIMENTO DEL SERBATOIO Togliere il coperchio di acciaio (rif. G) per accedere al serbatoio acqua così come indicato in figura. RACCOMANDIAMO L’UTILIZZO DI UN FILTRO ADDOLCITORE O DI UN SACCHETTO ANTICALCARE che deve essere periodicamente sostituito. Se ciò non viene fatto, all’interno della macchina si possono formare incrostazioni calcaree tali da pregiudicarne il buon funzionamento, oltre che la validità della garanzia. Dopo aver quindi introdotto il filtro addolcitore all’interno del serbatoio, riempire quest’ultimo con acqua potabile ed a basso contenuto di calcio.

BECCUCCI EROGAZIONE CAFFÈ (rif. B) I beccucci erogazione caffè sono situati nella parte anteriore della macchina. Durante l’erogazione non toccare i beccucci e non esporsi con il viso alle parti calde dell’apparecchio (pericolo di ustioni). Le superfici riscaldanti della macchina sono soggette a calore residuo anche dopo l’uso! ACCENSIONE Accendere la macchina premendo l’interruttore generale luminoso verde (rif. E) posto sul fianco destro della stessa; la spia incorporata si accenderà ed inizierà il riscaldamento del gruppo caffè. Se si desidera accendere anche la caldaia erogazione vapore, agire sull’apposito interruttore (rif. K) (ved.
Page 7 spegne, significa soltanto che il gruppo si sta riscaldando per portare l’acqua in temperatura ottimale; l’erogazione può quindi tranquillamente continuare. E’ consigliabile invece attendere l’accensione della suddetta spia (rif. C) prima di erogare il caffè successivo. Una volta che il caffè è stato erogato si consiglia di rimuovere la cialda per evitare che, asciugandosi, resti attaccata. Utilizzare esclusivamente le cialde del Vostro Fornitore. L’uso di cialde diverse da quelle per le quali la macchina è stata concepita può danneggiare l’apparecchio. È importante svuotare le vaschette raccogli acqua (rif. A) dopo l’erogazione di non più di 50 caffè. Se la vaschetta non viene svuotata, l’acqua può fuoriuscire. inserire la lancia vapore (rif. M) all’interno di una tazza o altro recipiente contenente esclusivamente acqua pulita e girare la manopola di erogazione vapore (rif. I) in senso antiorario fino a raggiungere la massima intensità di vapore. Dopo un minuto girare nuovamente la stessa manopola in senso orario fino ad arrestare completamente l’uscita del vapore. Attendere che la lancia vapore si sia sufficientemente raffreddata, dopodiché procedere alla sua pulizia esterna tramite un panno morbido inumidito di acqua calda. Eliminare tutte le incrostazioni (ad esempio di latte) per evitare che vengano ostruiti i fori di uscita del vapore. PULIZIA DELLA MACCHINA Non utilizzare la lavastoviglie per pulire la macchina o suoi componenti. Si danneggiano irrimediabilmente! Non usare altresì solventi e prodotti o materiali abrasivi. Qualsiasi tipo di pulizia, eccezion fatta quella del gruppo caffè e della lancia vapore, deve essere eseguita a macchina spenta (interruttore generale di alimentazione su zero) e dopo che la macchina si è raffreddata. GENERAL SAFETY INDICATIONS Some general safety indications are summarised below: • Carefully read the user instructions before operating the machine; • Never perform any operation with wet or damp hands; • Never cover the machine, not even partially, with cloths or protective covers; • Do not place hands near the coffee pouring spouts (ref. B), steam wand (ref. M), or upper cup warmer tray during operation; • Do not immerse the machine in water for cleaning; • This appliance can only be used by children aged 8 years or older if they are adequately supervised, instructed in the safe use of the appliance, and understand the risks involved. Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years, adequately supervised, and instructed. INSTALLATION Remove the machine from its packaging and place it on a stable surface suitable for supporting its weight near an appropriate power outlet. Keep the packaging for possible future transportation. FILLING OF THE TANK Remove the steel lid (ref. G) to access the water tank as shown in the figure WE RECOMMEND USING A WATER SOFTENER FILTER OR ANTI-SCALE BAG that must be periodically replaced. If this is not done, lime deposits may form inside the machine, potentially affecting its proper functioning and voiding the warranty. After inserting the water softener filter into the tank, fill it with drinking water, preferably low in calcium. Use a funnel and a bottle to fill the tank. The machine has a water level sensor in the tank. If the water level becomes too low, ongoing pouring operations are interrupted, and the water shortage light (ref. P) will flash, indicating the need to refill the tank. CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRIC NETWORK The machine’s power supply voltage cannot be modified by the user. Before connecting the machine, ensure that the electrical network’s voltage matches the one indicated on the identification plate.

COFFEE POURING SPOUTS (REF. B) The coffee pouring spouts are located on the machine’s front side. During pouring, do not touch the spouts or expose your face to the machine’s hot parts (burns hazard). Heating surfaces may retain heat even after use! TURNING ON THE MACHINE Turn on the machine by pressing the green general power switch (ref. E) located on the right side of the unit. The indicator light will turn on, and the coffee group will begin heating. If you wish to activate the steam boiler, use the dedicated switch (ref. K). HOW TO MAKE COFFEE Wait for the blue heating light (ref. C) to turn on: this indicates that the coffee group has reached its optimal operating temperature and is ready for use. Lift the pod press lever (ref. F) upwards and insert a pod into one of the designated seats (ref. H) as shown in the example in the figure.

Once the coffee has been dispensed, it is recommended to remove the pod to prevent it from sticking as it dries. Use exclusively the pods provided by your Supplier. Using pods other than those for which the machine was designed may damage the device. It is important to empty the drip tray (ref. A) after dispensing no more than 50 coffees. If the tray is not emptied, the water may overflow. STEAM APPARATUS Your ZIP TWIN VAPORE machine, as indicated by its name, is equipped with a steam production system. Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure proper use of this feature.

flow completely. Wait until the steam wand has sufficiently cooled, then clean its exterior with a soft cloth dampened with warm water. Remove any residue (e.g., milk) to prevent clogging of the steam outlet holes. CLEANING THE MACHINE Do not use a dishwasher to clean the machine or its components. They will be irreparably damaged! Similarly, do not use solvents or abrasive products or materials. Any cleaning, except for the coffee group and steam wand, must be performed with the machine turned off (general power switch set to “off”) and after it has cooled. Use only a soft cloth dampened with water to clean the machine’s exterior surfaces. The drip tray (ref. A) must be removed and washed with warm water and soap using a non-abrasive sponge, then dried thoroughly before reinserting it. If cleaning the water tank is necessary, use warm water. If detergents are used to clean the water tank, ensure it is rinsed thoroughly, as any chemical residues left inside the tank may pose a risk of food poisoning.

The Administrator WARRANTY The appliance is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated by applicable law. The warranty is limited to manufacturing or material defects and does not extend to parts subject to wear or damage to sensitive components (e.g., switches, power cable, etc.). It also does NOT cover damages caused by negligence or improper use of the appliance (e.g., use of water with a hardness level exceeding 8°F and/or failure to use or replace the appropriate water softener filter, which can lead to limescale deposits). In the event of a defect covered under warranty bring the appliance to the retailer where it was purchased, along with the receipt or invoice showing the serial number, which must match the one on the appliance. Only under these conditions will the appliance be repaired free of charge. Transportation costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. The warranty is void in cases of improper use, tampering, forceful actions, or repairs not performed by our specialized personnel.
