4. Motor Description SPE-A1LF, Lubrication free motors have a special hard, friction free and corrosion resistant coating. These motors can operate without any lubricant and therefore do not release any oily mist in the exhaust. Air motors must be lubricated daily to ensure proper functionality. Standard Pump Europe recommend the use a Filter Lubricator Regulator (FLR), to ensure a moisture free supply of air to the motor. Once the pump is fully assembled and all connections are securely fastened, insert the pump into the drum or tank. 2. Open air inlet valve. 3. Inspection periods - Standard Condition; bearings and rotor blades to be inspected at the latest by 1000 operating hours for wear and tear and replacement. 2. Please contact the factory or an authorized distributor with any questions regarding this matter. Pump Conditions When operating in Hazardous Duty applications, the SPE-A1LF must be used in conjunction with a Standard Pump Europe supplied ATEX approved drum pump and properly bonded and grounded. - Page 11 • The compressed air motor correspond to the ATEX Directive/UKEx Regulation (group II, category 2 for gases and dust). • The motor are therefore suitable for driving Standard Pump Europe drum pumps of category 1/2. • Motor Operation Condition (See 5.2.3 ATEX Operation / Hazardous Area) •...
