General The Parallel kit is supplied separately from the power supply packing according to the order. The usage of the parallel kit is according to the customer's needs. Advanced Parallel For parallel connection, refer to the advanced parallel chapter in the Series user manual.

1.4.1.2 Installation Steps 1. Attach the connection plate and the front connection plate to each side of the power supplies using twenty-four Pan Head screws and Twenty-four Rip-Lock washer M5 as illustrated in Figure Connection Plate 4U (x2) Rip-Lock Washer M5, BN 84530 (x24) 10-32 x 0.3125 Pan Head Screw (x24) Tightening torque: 25.4-31.7 Lbf-inch (2.87-3.58Nm).

2. Attach the busbars connector plate to each of the four terminals using 16 hexagonal screws, 32 flat washers, 16 helical spring-lock washers, and 16 hexagonal nuts, as shown in Figure 2. Use the screws, washers, spring-lock washers, and nuts provided in the power supply accessories kit.

4. Important Note: The assembly of the Advanced Parallel System must be carried out with the power supplies disconnected from the grid (i.e., disconnected from the AC source). Once all the paralleling cables are connected, reconnect all power supplies to the grid (connect to the AC source), turn on the power (power switch ON), and initiate the acknowledgment process.

3. Connect the paralleling cable (G/P) from the J7 (Master) connector of the upper power supply unit to the J6 (Slave) connector of the lower power supply unit. Continue connecting the remaining units in the same manner, with each unit linking to the one below it. The total number of connections will be the number of power supplies minus one (n-1), as shown in Figure 6.
